Welcome Dr. Henning to Newberg Veterinary Hospital!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Henning to the Newberg Veterinary Hospital team!

Dr. Henning is a 2022 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Growing up in Guatemala, Kenya, India, and Zambia gave him the opportunity to see the importance of veterinary care from an early age and helped inspire his path to veterinary medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the College of Idaho before attending veterinary school at The Ohio State University.

His professional interests include urgent care, surgery, and dentistry, along with continuing to expand his knowledge across all areas of veterinary medicine. Dr. Henning is passionate about client education and enjoys helping pet owners better understand their pet’s health and care. Through clear communication and education, he strives to help clients feel informed and involved in decisions about their pet’s health.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Henning enjoys spending time with his wife, Arianna, their daughter, Charlie, and their two golden retrievers, Finn and Harlow. Together, they enjoy traveling, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, and eating ice cream.

Dr. Henning looks forward to becoming part of the Newberg community and caring for local pets and their families. Please join us in welcoming him to Newberg Veterinary Hospital!
