Upcoming Team Updates
November 18, 2025

To Our Valued Clients,

We hope this message finds you and your pets well. Over the years, you have entrusted your pets’ health to us, and we have shared countless stories, smiles, and even some tears, all while maintaining the same commitment to providing the best possible care. This bond, which extends beyond a mere client-service-provider relationship, compels us to keep you informed about significant changes within our practice.

In the coming months, some of our long-standing veterinarians will be stepping back from their roles as they transition to new chapters in their lives.

Our beloved DVMs start their next chapter on the following dates:

  • Dr. Mark Weber - December 31, 2025
  • Dr. Tina Johnson - January 18, 2026
  • Dr. Jacki Aschim - January 18, 2026

We remain fortunate to have dedicated team members continuing to provide excellent care, including Dr. Erin Tripp, who will serve as Chief of Staff, and Dr. Greg Fischer, who will focus on surgical and dental care.

Schedule Appointment

We are actively welcoming new veterinarians to join our practice, and in the interim, we will continue to utilize relief veterinarians to help maintain appointment availability. As our team grows, we look forward to expanding the services and appointment options available to you.

Please note that our operating hours, including nights and weekends, may adjust somewhat based on staffing, so we encourage you to check our website for the latest updates. If your pet needs immediate veterinary care outside of our business hours, please contact your closest urgent care or emergency clinic. We often suggest Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin for life threatening or after hours emergencies.

We appreciate your understanding and trust during this period of transition. Thank you for your continued support and for allowing us to care for your pets. Please review our FAQ page if you have additional questions.

Warm regards,

Dr. Erin Tripp and the entire staff at Newberg Veterinary Hospital
